The\r\nimproved registration system is expected to become available in spring\r\n2017.\n\n800 new entities are registered to the Cybernetica-developed VAT\r\nregistry every month. The new e-service will make the process\r\nsignificantly faster for the tax-payer, as the risk analysis necessary\r\nto complete the registration is performed already prior to the\r\nsubmission of the application. \"Any entitiy with a clean tax record will\r\ntherefore be able to view their VAT identification number immediately\r\nafter applying,\" says Monika Jõesaar,  the head of the service division\r\nof  the Tax and Customs Board. \"Additional information is needed from\r\nentrepreneurs without any prior records, but the submission of such\r\ninformation is also possible via a user-friendly online environment,\"\r\nJõesaar added.\n\nAccording to Rudolf Osman, Head of eTax and eCustoms Systems at\r\nCybernetica, the project is a sign of successful long-term cooperation\r\nwith the ETCB. \"We have been developing critical systems for the Tax and\r\nCustoms Board for nearly 15 years. We are honoured to once again be able\r\nto develop systems that impact the society, enhancing ease of doing\r\nbusiness in Estonia,\" Osman says.\n\nOnline registration of persons liable for value added tax also rises\r\ncost-efficiency, as it removes the need to visit an ETCB service centre\r\nand greatly reduces the waiting time of registration.\n\nCybernetica is a R&D intensive ICT company that researches, develops and\r\nmanufactures software solutions, light signalling and telematics\r\nproducts, maritime surveillance and radio communications systems.\r\nCybernetica has been an active counterpart in developing critical\r\ne-Governance systems, such as the Estonian X-Road, i-Voting, e-Customs\r\nand others.",[],{"metaTitle":14,"metaDescription":10,"shareImage":10},"Information system to simplify registration of VAT's",1788355403768]
