Cybernetica researcher Margus Freudenthal defended his PhD thesis

On October 25th, Cybernetica researcher Margus Freudenthal defended his PhD thesis titled "Simpl: A toolkit for domain-specific language development in enterprise information systems" at the University of Tartu. Margus'es work was inspired by the experience gained while building information systems for the Estonian Tax and Customs Board. In these projects, domain-specific languages were used for describing different aspects of the complex information systems. During his PhD studies, Margus created the Simpl: tool for facilitation of quick and efficient creation of such languages. The tool is freely available at research.cyber.eeMargus'es work supervisor is University of Tartu  professor Marlon Dumas.
