The Prime Minister of Vietnam H.E. Mr. Phạm Minh Chính visits Cybernetica

Vietnamese delegation at Cybernetica's office

Recently, we had the honour of hosting a high-level delegation from Vietnam, headed by the Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Phạm Minh Chính, and including Mr. Bùi Thanh Sơn (Minister of Foreign Affairs), Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung (Minister of Science and Technology) and Mrs Pham Thi Thanh Binh (Ambassador of Vietnam to Estonia). In addition to the Ministers, the delegation included key executives from numerous Vietnamese companies from sectors such as technology, transportation and infrastructure.

Vietnam has set ambitious goals for rapid development of the country, as well as the international trade. With country’s GDP growth in 2024 over 5,5%, it is clear that the fast-growing economy of one of South-East Asian major regions is to be supported by a modern and smart infrastructure.

Cybernetica’s experts of digital transformation gave the honourable delegation an overview of our work in the e-governance, digital identity, cybersecurity and research, Internet voting as well as in maritime surveillance. The region is already familiar to Cybernetica – we have successfully deployed a UXP-based data exchange platform for Malaysian digital government, as well as provided the comprehensive vessel traffic management and radio communication systems for the Malaysian Authorities of Marine Department, plus the country’s major ports of Tanjung Pelepas and Port Johor.

Cybernetica’s CTO Arne Ansper reminisced on the lively discussion: “We were very pleased to have in-depth discussion on important e-Government topics such as digital identity, data exchange, internet voting security and AI. We are looking forward to foster our new connections to discuss how we can support Vietnam’s strong ambitions to digitalise, and bring the Vietnamese government closer to its citizens through modern and transparent digital transformation practices.”
