In May 2024, Tallinn hosted the inaugural Future Cryptography Conference, bringing together researchers and government technologists from Estonia and Czechia to explore Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), the technologies designed to keep our digital infrastructure secure in a quantum computing era.
This talk by Arne Ansper gives an accessible overview of what the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) has been doing to prepare for the shift to PQC and how close we actually are to using it in everyday internet communication.
