Cybernetica and EY Tunisia have entered into a strategic partnership aiming to promote digitalisation, pursue joint projects and build better services. Both companies will be bringing together their extensive experience with providing advisory and future-proof technologies.

The partnership will set out to develop a joint offering in e-governance for the French-speaking region of Africa, specifically in interoperability, digital identity, and cybersecurity. Cybernetica will be making available its unique experience with building digital societies and developing secure and innovative technologies, and as part of the collaboration will also be training the EY team for a deeper understanding of its core e-governance technologies portfolio. Uniting Cybernetica’s expertise with EY will result in state of the art digital services that are more accessible and provide a better citizen experience.

Cybernetica already has successful references to show in the region, for example implementing an interoperability layer to connect ministries in Tunisia, as well as various other e-governance projects in Namibia and Benin. It’s a solid foundation upon which to continue building together.

According to Oliver Väärtnõu, CEO at Cybernetica, the partnership agreement is a way for the company to cement its presence in the region. “We feel that our values and vision match well with EY and this is a great opportunity for us to hit the ground running in a region where we have already somewhat proven our expertise,” said Väärtnõu.
