Cybernetica Signed an Agreement to Implement Secure Data Exchange for Interoperability for the Government of Côte d'Ivoire

On the 8th of May, Cybernetica signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Côte d'Ivoire, which foresees the introduction of digital government’s best practices in the country. The agreement was signed with ANSUT, the organization responsible for driving digital transformation in the government.

The Memorandum of Understanding sets the ground for the start of development and implementation a digital government platform and related e-services. The main focus will be on the implementation of fundamental building blocks of the digital government – digital identity and interoperability platforms. For the latter, the UXP technology will be used.

„This comprehensive agreement creates a possibility to provide Côte d’Ivoire with world-class knowledge in several fields where Cybernetica holds highest expertise,“ says Riho Kurg, the Head of Data Exchange Technologies at Cybernetica. „The main goal is to develop a strong foundation for the local e-government based on Estonian experience, and to improve the availability of e-services for the citizens of Côte d’Ivoire.“

The signing ceremony in Abidjan, the economic center of Côte d’Ivoire was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Government of Côte d'Ivoire, who expressed the Government’s strong support for improving nation-wide e-governance solutions.
