Cybernetica showcased its secure data exchange platform UXP® at the 30th NATO TIDE Sprint in Virginia Beach, United States, a forum for collaborating and exchanging ideas to reach innovative solutions for the most pressing interoperability challenges faced by NATO.
According to Tarmo Oja, Head of UXP Deployment at Cybernetica, the event focused largely on the insights brought forward by the previous TIDE Sprint held in April and the CWIX (Coalition Warrior Interoperability eXploration, eXperimentation, eXploration, eXercise) event held in June that experimented with applicable interoperability solutions, where Cybernetica initially demoed its capabilities. „We introduced our UXP technology already in spring, while presenting a live demo with real-life information systems at CWIX in June. Last week’s event was a recap of the work done, paving the way ahead,“ Oja said.
The close collaboration between Cybernetica and NATO Allied Command Transformation has been ongoing for over half a year already, with this phase of the project estimated to last until end of December. „Interoperability as the ability to act together is the foundation for all NATO operations,“ says Oliver Väärtnõu, CEO of Cybernetica. „Providing the technological capacity to enhance one of the core operatives of the alliance helps us to gain recognition in the field and encourage the use our solution accross all NATO members,“ Väärtnõu says.
Allied Command Transformation (ACT) is a NATO military command, which was formed in 2003. Allied Command Transformation promotes and leads many initiatives designed to transform NATO's military structure, its forces, capabilities and doctrine. Allied Command Transformation's main responsibilities include education, training and exercises, as well as conducting experiments to assess new concepts, and promote interoperability throughout the Alliance.
