You put on your best outfit to make an appropriate impression, after all, it's your first day at your new job. You hope your colleagues judge you by your appearance and your reserved nature to find common traits of how you present yourself. Why is it always so nerve-wrecking? Well, maybe that's not how it goes for you, because we don't know you... yet.
But we do know a little something about our Junior Business Analyst Lala, a part of our Digital Identity Technologies team. The most memorable project I worked on was the UAE PASS Assessment which lasted around 6 months. The goal was to provide consultancy services for the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA)'s work in electronic identification, digital wallets, and trust services. This project was particularly memorable due to my first opportunity to collaborate with international stakeholders. One of the key challenges was navigating the cultural clash and diverse perspectives on digital identity between European and Middle Eastern stakeholders. The experience enhanced my analytical skills and deepened my understanding of cybersecurity and digital identity systems.
- What changed for you when you became a full-time employee?
Transitioning to a full-time role brought a new level of commitment and engagement. I was entrusted with greater responsibilities and had more influence over project outcomes. This shift also allowed me to develop a deeper connection with my team and understand the broader strategic goals of Cybernetica.
