Expansion of data exchange platform in Malaysia

We are pleased to announce that Cybernetica, with our exclusive partner HLA Integrated Sdn Bhd, will continue our collaboration on the implementation and expansion of the Malaysian Government Central Data Exchange (MyGDX) platform, under the National Registries (MyGDX 2.0) Expansion Services. This marks another important milestone in our ongoing cooperation with the Malaysian Government and its partner organisations.

Our partnership with Malaysia began in 2022, when we set the foundation for the MyGDX platform by implementing advanced UXP data exchange technology. This initial phase enabled more efficient and secure digital interactions across government bodies.

Malaysia is now entering the next phase of the MyGDX ecosystem’s expansion, with Phase 1 focusing on enhancing its security and data exchange capabilities. To date, 80 agencies are already part of the MyGDX ecosystem, and more than 6 million transactions have been recorded thus far.

The main goal for the next 3 years will be to facilitate the gradual and sustainable scaling of the MyGDX platform. This will be achieved by connecting an additional 150 government organisations, thereby expanding the system’s impact and improving digital service delivery for citizens nationwide.

Cybernetica’s contribution

As the technology partner and the primary developer of UXP technology, Cybernetica will provide UXP licenses for UXP Security Servers and UXP Connectors. These tools are designed to enable effective cross-organisational data exchange and improve the accessibility of government services for citizens.

In collaboration with HLA Integrated Sdn Bhd, we will coordinate three sessions of Technical Training of Trainers (ToT) for the newly onboarded organisations. These sessions are designed to build capacity and strengthen the technical skills of participants, empowering them to manage the deployed systems independently. This program will also ensure that they are equipped to further train others within their organisations, promoting sustainable knowledge transfer and operational autonomy.

Additionally, we will organise a dedicated training specifically for the Jabatan Digital Negara (JDN) project team. This training will focus on the responsibilities of the UXP Governing Authority and share best practices for implementing interoperability at an international level. Our goal is to equip JDN with the expertise and resources needed to lead successful integration efforts.

Cybernetica, through HLA Integrated Sdn Bhd, remains committed to supporting the MyGDX ecosystem beyond initial deployment. We will continue to provide ongoing maintenance and technical support to ensure the stability, security, and effectiveness of the platform as it evolves.
